Our Project Technology Race 5K

Each year the students of Dayton Technology Design High School take on a large project and compete as teams against each other.

This year’s project will be a little bit different. Simulated business has been the theme for the past three years and has produced some high quality work.  To mix things up a little this year we once again focus on developing Management, Marketing and Multi-Media skills.

In May DTDHS will hold a 5K run/walk that will act as a fund raiser to benefit DTDHS, and Soles4Souls. Students will be responsible for the complete production of the race.

Students will focus on marketing the race and fundraising activities to create maximum participation. Management students will oversee many race operations including generating sponsorships, communication with the race management company, and cash flows operations. Multi-Media students will product web components to help communicate with the racing and fundraising community to raise the profile of the event.

We hope that you choose to get involved with the race and help make our event as exciting and successful as possible. Please stay tuned for updates.
